I’ve written about this before and here’s another example that my vintage Mrs. Grossman’s Stickers on Etsy are cheaper than the limited sets they are selling direct from the factory. I currently have in stock the dragonflies and hummingbirds, but I am selling 40 of the hummingbirds (in larger form) at only $12.95 and 90 of the dragonflies at $14.95. The factory is only offering an assortments of 20 short strips or 76 mods at $40!
And, of course, I have many more vintage designs available. Click on over to my Sticker Section on Etsy and see what you can find!
It’s not too early to start thinking about what stickers you’re going to add to the front and/or back of your Christmas Card envelopes. Or what stickers you’re going to add to a gift whether on the wrapping or inside. Or which you can stick in a stocking. Or that you can give to the little ones to keep them busy for all of several minutes. Or the ones with which you can make your own vintage Christmas cards. Feel free to ask for special orders or certain amounts differing from those in the listings if I have a large inventory of the specific design. And don’t forget to check out my entire sticker inventory if you’re going the gifting route. Click on images for ordering:
I’ve added some special Valentine’s Day Heart Stickers to my Etsy Store for the upcoming holiday. I have more available and can make custom orders. Click on the image to be taken to the listings:
I sell miles of Mrs. Grossman’s Stickers in my Etsy Store that apparently I’m next to giving away considering the Mrs. Grossman’s Factory recently put out an email that they are selling only ten lots of vintage stickers (just like the ones I sell) for $50 each. The lots only contain 16 different varieties of 3 modules each which equals 48 modules. I generally sell multiple strips of modules numbering 48 and higher from $9.95 for the lots. And they, too, are vintage from 1979-1988. I currently have 137 listings in my Sticker Department alone. Not that I’m considering raising my prices, but if you want a great deal, you don’t have to order from the factory, head to my store on Etsy:
Just the other day I posted “Selling Stickers” detailing how I had gone back out later Saturday morning and found the guy from whom I had purchased stickers what seems like several years ago now. And when I got home and listed many of them and sold almost $200 worth within a few days, I thought, I knew I should have bought more. So what did I do? I emailed the craigslist ad of the garage sale. A day went by and nothing. But the next day I got a phone call. It was the Sticker Guy. Well, really his wife, but she passed me on to him and we set up a time to meet the next day. I was punctual, went on over, and I asked him how much for the whole lot which was about 5 boxes of different sizes. What is shown above is about half. He said a hundred bucks. I tried to hesitate. When he said, “Too much?… There is a lot there…” and I said, “Okay.” I had made a hundred bucks in a day off the first load I bought from him. And I would make $132 the night of listing just a portion of this lot. I asked him if he had worked for the company, which I thought for sure he had. He said no, he had bought a container years ago from the warehouse Mrs. Grossman’s had had in the area. He had had these boxes for years. Everything in them is from the ’70’s and ’80’s. And he was tired of dealing with them. I backed my car up to his garage, he reinforced the large boxes with duct tape, put on his moving gloves and shoved them in the back of my car. I felt like I had won the lottery. Need any stickers? Any specific requests, please don’t hesitate to ask. Most of the above, plus the first lot, are now listed in my store on Etsy:
